Each month, we invite local and international artists, craftspeople and designers to run weekend and monthly workshops which place value on handmade and artisanal techniques, making them inclusive and accessible to both a beginner and more experienced audience.

Saturday 27th September
10am - 2pm
Make your own Nifty Little Figure with Srta. Antonia
Kick off the Autumn with a fun and dynamic workshop where Paula, aka. Srta. Antonia will teach you all the secrets to make a cool little figurine you can cherish forever.
In this workshop, you will be given guidance in how to design a ceramic figurine with lots of personality and pizzaz. Following this, you will create your figure with added accessories to bring it to life and tell a unique story.
We will then have a snack/drink break, where we will serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and offer veggie/vegan snacks.
After, you will return to paint and add decorative details to your figure with engobes or underglazes (different types of colours that can be applied to unfired clay).
After the workshop, your pieces will go through two firings and will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. We will send you an email to pick them up when they are ready :)

Make a Set of Toast Dishes
