Each month, we invite local and international artists, craftspeople and designers to run weekend and monthly workshops which place value on handmade and artisanal techniques, making them inclusive and accessible to both a beginner and more experienced audience.

Saturday June 14th

Summer Snacking Board & Bowls
It's time to get ready for the summer and all your snacking and picnic possibilities. In our new Ceramics & Nutrition workshop, you will make your own unique and handmade snacking board and accompanying bowls, followed by a hands-on workshop where you will learn nutritious and delicious ways to use it.
What you can expect from this workshop:
🌟 A Creative and Relaxing Space
Learn how to design and build a ceramic snacking set (1 board and 2 bowls), which you will later personalise with decoration. No previous experience is needed, we will help you with every step.
🍴 Easy and delicious recipes for the perfect picnic
Discover easy and delicious recipes that you can use to wow your friends and family. You will take with you a pdf of recipes you can use all year long.
🌟 A Place to Unwind
This is a perfect workshop to break free of your routine, to unleash your creativity and to meet wonderful people with similar interests.
65€/person (with materials for both ceramics and nutrition workshops included).

Throwing Intensive
We have a special Throwing Intensive Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of June.
What will you learn?
Day 1 (June 27th from 6pm-9pm)
We will do an introduction to the process and a demonstration of how to use a pottery wheel.
You will have the opportunity to practice and receive help on how to:
- centering and opening the clay
- raising the walls to be able to make cylinders and small bowls
- finishing the form in preparation for trimming.
* For more advanced students, we will help you to increase the difficulty by increasing the weight of the clay and making more complex shapes.
Day 2 (June 28th from 10:30am-1:30pm)
On the second day, we will start with an explanation and demonstration of the turning of the forms.
You will have the opportunity to practice and receive help on how to turn your pieces from the previous day.
- An introduction on how to decorate your pieces with engobes or underglazes (different types of colors that can be applied to unfired clay).
After the workshop, your pieces will go through two firings and will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. We will send you an email to pick them up when they are ready :)

July 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7

10-hour Throwing Intensive
What will you learn?
During this 10-hour throwing intensive, we will introduce you to the wonderful world of throwing. During the first few days,
you will have the opportunity to practice and receive help on how to:
- center and open the clay
- raise the walls to be able to make cylinders and small bowls
- finish your forms in preparation for trimming.
* For more advanced students, we will help you to increase the difficulty by increasing the weight of the clay and making more complex shapes.
Towards the start of the second week, we will show you have to trim and polish your forms, as well as an introduction on how to decorate your pieces with engobes or underglazes (different types of colours that can be applied to unfired clay).
After the workshop, your pieces will go through two firings and will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. We will send you an email to pick them up when they are ready :)
In difference to the two-day intensive, this everyday practice will be an authentic experience of what it is like to be a potter. You will gain a realistic understanding of how to manage and develop your practice. Perfect if you want to get into throwing :)
