Weekly Classes

Try something new, revive your passion, or take your skills to the next level

A great way to gain a basic understanding of hand-building, glazing and decoration techniques. Explore your creative ideas whilst learning the exciting possibilities of working with clay. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through a series of exercises that will teach you different hand building techniques such as slab building and coiling.

All levels of experience are welcome.

Have you always wanted to learn how to use a pottery wheel? Get a feel for working with clay and the potential to make different forms in Bilbao’s only 12-week Introduction to Throwing Course.

This year-long course will introduce you to the world of surface decoration techniques. We will develop your skills with easy-to-use processes, easy-to-find materials and familiar ceramic tools and equipment. Once you learn the basics, you will be able to explore and experiment on your own, customising the processes for your own work.

We will explore the techniques of stencils, monoprints, lino prints, paper resists and scraffito. After taking this course, you will find that the creative possibilities are endless!

Have you been looking for a way to practice all that English you have spent so much time studying? Are you new to Bilbao and haven't yet got to grips with your Spanish or Euskera?

Well then, the Clay Club is just the place for you! Come form part of a dynamic cosmopolitan group and have fun creating unique handmade ceramics pieces too.

Get your children learning and practising English while having fun. This is the perfect after-school activity that lets children try different arts and crafts techniques they might never have the chance to try at school.

Designed for children between 8 - 12 years of age, creativity and self-expression are encouraged through learning and inspiration from artistic eras from different places and time periods.

A great opportunity they won't want to miss.
